Well I have been neglecting the blog so here goes. Monday Tay and I went to jonesboro to Sage Meadows and played golf. I shot a 38 on the back nine and a 42 on the front for an 80. I hit every fairway but one.Tuesday the kids and I went to the library where they had an aquarium from the Arkansas game and fish commission. Zachary really liked the catfish. Wednesday and Thursday we went to Gosnell to Shannon and Shawn's house to swim. Wednesday night Abby came back to our house and spent the night then we went back Thursday to swim more. Tonight we went to church for the Celebrate America program. It was very patriotic and touching. I am adding pics from all of the above.

Goin to the dentist

Good morning all, I am fixing to go to the dentist and get root canals and crowns done on all of my bottom teeth. Ouch!!! But the end result is going to be wonderful so it will be worth it! Cant write more gotta go.Love yall DATZW

Start of summer

Good morning all, not a whole lot happening right now here. Tay and I have taken Zachary to school and been in the backyard trying to learn how to ride a bike w/out training wheels. I didn't realize how tiring running behind a bike really is!!! Tomorrow Mom and the O'neal's are coming over to go to the little water park at the community center. I will post pics when I get them. Home again Home again

Well we have finally made it back home! I love going on vacation but there is no place like home. We got to see and do alot while we were gone and I have posted some pics to prove it. I will try to post more later but for now I have got to go to walmart and get some groceries, Tay and I are hungry! See ya'll
I'm back from getting groceries and I am gonna add some pics. Some are of Amy's family and some are from our halfway stop at Tellico village on tellico lake outside of Knoxville. We stayed at Amy's great aunt and uncle's home that is right on the lake, it was beautiful there!!!!!!! Her aunt Ethel and uncle Billy took us to a little beach area that thier community has for kids there on the lake and we had a picnic. It was very nice after driving nearly 6 hours to be able to have something like that for us and the kids.

Good bright and early morning to everyone! It's about 555 in the am here in va and it's pretty quiet here this morning. In about there will be a bunch of excited kids and adults awake upstairs. We will be making the 90 minute drive to Kingsdominion amusement park. It is very similar to sixflags for those of you who are unfamiliar with it. Yesterday I got to play 18 holes with Chris, Amy's brother and we played a great course, Buena vista. Playing on the mountains and trying to hit a golf ball while you are standing on the side of a hill was a big adjustment for me! I am used do hitting the ball off of flat ground. The front 9 I hit the ball well and made good contact but was getting used to the mountain lies and greens. The back 9 was a different story. I got used to the course and shot a 3 over 39, which gave me an 84 over all. Seeing as if I have only played golf about 5 or 6 times in the last 2 or 3 years I was very pleased! Amy and the kids are having a great time as well, Last night we went bowling with Chris and his girlfriend Sarah and then came back and played boardgames until I just couldn't take the fun anymore and had to go to bed. I guess I am done talking for now and will give a brief rundown about today, tomorrow. Love Ya'll DATZW

6/14/2006 golf day

Me and my brother in law Chris on what I thought was the coolest hole on the course! We had an unexpected visitor on the way to the green.
Drove it right at the bunkers, stuck second shot about 6 feet and made my birdie!
This hole probably drops 150 feet from the tee, I didnt quite judge the drop correct, but what can you expect I grew up on flat land!

Good early morning everyone, it is about 630 on wed morn 6/14/06 and I am waiting for Chris to get here to go play golf. We are going to a nice course( link on previous entry) somewhere on the mountain I think. It should be fun and challenging by the looks of the pics of the course. We all had a great time at the waterpark yesterday! Everyone got a little more sun than intended but sometimes that happens, we did re-apply sunscreen for those of you who are shocked to hear that. The park had an inside and outside to it but 2 hours after us getting there, someone found something floating in the water and the inside park was closed down for the rest of the day. Have great pics and will post when we get home! Well I need to finish getting ready before Chris pulls up to get me so I will see yall later. Love Yale DATZW

This morning we will be going to Massanutten ski resort to the indoor/outdoor waterpark. It really looks neet from the pics on the net, I know that we will have a great time. I was able to squeeze in 9 holes with Chris yesterday and I played well. I triple bogeyed the second and still shot a 40.The course was on top of the mountain and when I get home I will post some pics from it, they are impressive! I was more than happy with that. I also drove the green on a 270 yard par 4 but missed a very makeable eagle putt.Well I am fixing to wake everyone up and get ready to go to the waterpark.http://www.thevistalinks.com/ This is a link to the course I am playing at tomorrow. Hey everyone we are in Va and are really enjoying ourselves. We are staying until saturday and will be home on sunday. Travel day

Good morning all, it looks like everything is a go to leave for our trip today. We will be driving half way to Crossville, TN which is almost 400 miles. We thought that would be far enough for us and the kids since we are leaving after Amy gets out of work. We are gonna try to leave there enroute to Stuarts Draft, VA tomorrow about 8 am and hope to get there around 2. Well this will probably be the last entry for a week or so but we will have some good pics and stories to share then. Pray for us to have safe traveling. Love ya'll DATZW

Well I have somewhat figured out how to do this whole blog thing now so hopefully my posts will get better. I am including some shots from the last few weeks, end of school, a beautiful rainbow and just some pictures that Tay snuck off with the camera and took. Today will be a finish cleaning and packing for the trip day. I hope that this does not jinx me but I have been feeling GREAT lately and hopefully this is just a preview of things to come. I have been trying to go walking everyday and Tay and I have gotten to play golf twice in the last 2 weeks, HOORAY! I hope to get to play golf in Virginia if we can squeeze it in between the time at Massanutten(timeshare resort where I hit my second hole in one) and Kings Dominion(themepark). Well I will stop blabbing and add the pics now. There is a spot at the end of these daily posts to add comments so if anyone is reading these please just say hi or something. Hey everyone, this is our family blog! I am going to try to add to this everyday when possible. I am also going to put recent photo's on here so all of you family in texas and virginia can keep up with everything and see everyone grow! I am gonna keep today short because Taylor and I are fixing to play nintendo. I am going to try and add a few pics. We are leaving on friday to go to and see the virginia crew.
